New for 2008!  Canyon Lake is an impoundment of the Guadalupe River, created in 1964.  Situated between San antonio and Austin, the lake is a premier weekend get away for people from both cities.  The numerous parks and marinas surrounding the lake offer a wide array of services and water-based activities.  The lake boasts a superb fishery and oppoortunities fore largemouth, white bass, striped bass and catfish abound.
